Nokia, the Finnish firm based company recently revealed there new android tablet with the title “Nokia N1“. Although most of the people might confuse themselves in understanding that the deal that Microsoft and Nokia had earlier didn’t permitted Smartphones under the Nokia brand, but who said Nokia couldn’t release a tablet device?
Another confusing factor here could be the Nokia Lumia 2520 (Tablet) which Microsoft will be selling under the brand name of Nokia. Although the two devices (N1 and 2520) are not much identical in specifications as well as design but Nokia promoting N1 and not 2520 might be a twist for the consumers.
Nokia unlike the earlier Android device releases (Nokia X family) took upon themselves to keep the Stock Android look this time, with the introduction to the new Nokia’s Z Launcher. The device is likely to go on sale in China by the end of Chinese New Year and then could be followed up by other countries too. No official words by Nokia but the gadget experts and rumours tell us that the device will cost around $249 ( that’s roughly 15,400 rupee ). You can try the new Nokia Z Launcher by downloading it from the Play Store, below.
Nokia N1’s device key specifications are as follows:-
- 2.3Ghz,64bit Quad-core Intel atom 3580 processor
- A 533MHz PowerVR G6430 graphics processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 32GB Internal Memory
- Android L (5.0)
- New USB C-Type Connector
- 5300 mAh battery (18.5 Wh)
Further talking about the camera, Nokia N1 boasts a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera, which is great for selfies and video-calls, although there will be no LED Flash along with the Camera but as far as Nokia’s reputation with Camera’s is concerned, the image quality is likely to look better than expected.Nokia N1 has a 2048 × 1536-pixel screen along with its 200.7mm x 138.6 mm x 6.9 mm dimensions and it weighs just about 318g.
This isn’t a smartphone and there appears to be no cellular connectivity in the screenshots revealed by Nokia, so it will be interesting to see how Microsoft reacts to this.
